Help keep chimpanzees and other primates in the wild

Each and every day you have an impact on the world around you. You may feel overwhelmed about what action you can take to help but there are some very simple things you can do that will make a difference.

Social media is a big part of the problem as it is a marketplace for animals illegally taken from the wild and used for entertainment and photographic props.

There are 26 Jane Goodall Institutes around the world working together to advance Dr Goodall’s vision of a better future for people, other animals and the planet we share. In 2019 we joined forces to launch our first global campaign – Forever Wild, aiming to tackle the irresponsible portrayals of chimpanzees on social media.
