Become a Chimp Guardian and Help Change a Life
Every year, young chimpanzees are taken from their families through illegal wildlife trafficking, bushmeat hunting and habitat destruction. Many are still nursing when they are captured, traumatised, alone and in urgent need of care.
Through our Chimp Guardian programme, you can help rewrite their story.
Your symbolic adoption supports the Tchimpounga Chimpanzee Rehabilitation Centre, run by the Jane Goodall Institute in the Republic of Congo. This sanctuary provides rescued chimps with expert medical care, emotional support and the chance to grow up in the safety of a new chimpanzee family.
These young chimps have already lost so much. With your help, they can thrive again.
For just £36 per year, you can become a Chimp Guardian and receive the following, all delivered digitally to minimise environmental impact:
A beautiful Welcome Pack with photos and the story of your chosen chimp, plus information about Tchimpounga, JGI UK and Dr Jane Goodall DBE
An official Chimp Guardian certificate
Exclusive e-updates about your adopted chimp’s progress
Our Hope Times e-newsletter, filled with inspiring updates from our work across Africa and the UK
A chimp photo for you to share proudly on social media
A digital background image of your chimp to use in video calls or as a screen image
By becoming a Chimp Guardian, you are not just supporting one chimpanzee. You are taking a stand for wildlife, compassion and hope.
Join us today and be part of something extraordinary
